Oxlip Bible Character Parade

Adults (yup, you too) and kids….Create and wear a Bible Character costume or get creative and wear a Biblical “concept” costume 3 times the last week in October! Talk about being efficient and creating opportunities to talk about your costume and the inspiration you drew it from….the Bible!!

Sunday,  October 27th

Join us at our worship service for our Bible character parade. Awana clubbers, this means you too! It’s gonna be fun! Wear your costume to church and we will share them with our congregation in our first annual Bible Character Parade! You may even be “interviewed” by a sheep! Service begins at 9:00 am and we’d love to have you join us for Sunday School at 10:45am - 11:45am. We have great treats in between (really good stuff) too!

Wednesday, October 30th

It’s a special night of Awana! Come to Awana dressed in your Bible costume (leaders and adults too!) Enjoy the festivities of Trunk or Treat during game time. Play games and get some tasty treats! We’ll take a photo of all the participants and highlight it during worship service the following Sunday! Big screen in technicolor!!

Thursday, October 31st

Going trick or treating for Halloween? Wear your Bible character costume! The Bible tells us we are “set apart” as God’s children so let’s do that. We can be LIGHT on this night! How cool would it be to have Samson, Goliath, Roman soldiers, fishermen, a tree of life, a guy in a whale, a basket of spiritual fruit and beautiful queens (just to name a few) walking around the neighborhood? Also think of the interesting conversations Friday at school, during lunch, when you eat your Reese’s PB cup and talk about it with your friends.

Think outside the box! Plan a family idea or go solo! There are lots of ideas online or maybe you’ve already got the best idea ever.

Got a question? Come see Ms. Kari and hopefully she can help you out! No question is a baaaaaaaaad one (guess her costume?).

All Men Welcome.....

Every other Friday 7am --Bible Study with Jeff Anderson - Detours by Tony Evans

To us, it's the problem, To God, it's the plan.

God loves o flip things on a dime.  He loves to operate in the surprise of "suddenlies".  Because when He does, He is the only One who can get the credit and the glory.
